This is an establishing shot as it sets the scene for what is about to happen. this shot also tells that the bag is a valuable item.

this is an medium shot but also an establishing shot as it isn't to far away or close up and it gives you a hint for what is about to happen and that is why it is an establish shot. this shot is also meant to show that we are good friends.

This is also a medium shot which shows that we are not up to good and trouble is about to come, you maybe able to tell this due to both of us covering up are faces. which you may do when about to rob something.

this is a over the shoulder shot. this shot helps shows suspension As you cant see the other persons face but you know that we are looking at each other and from the last shot you know that we are out for trouble. This shot also makes the target clear and who we are out to rob.

tThis is another other over the shoulder shot that is meant to show the two boys wanting something the third boy owns you maybe able to tell that this, as one of the boys is pointing at some thing the third boy is pointing at.
This is a medium shot. Clearly, One boy is on the floor while the other two are taking his belongings (robbery), This can be counted as a violent scene even though no one is hurting one another. but you know before this shot was taken some violence took place. As in the previous scene he is stand and now I this scene he is one the floor.

This is another medium shot that escalates from the last one and has become more brutal, as now the victim is being kicked and stamped on.

This is a long shot and also the final shot. which shows the two robber walking away showing no sympathy for the victim who is badly injured or possibly dead. we also purposely did it in the direction of the sun shining towards the camera to represent the scenes coming to the end as the sun would normally shine bright when its coming towards the, going down.

MACINTOSH-GORDON, Kamarl
Post this in a new blogspot, on your Media blog and complete the LR tasks/questions below:

WWW: Your first blog post is detailed and reflective, it was a great start to your blogging. Your fruit bowl shows that you understand how and why colour palettes are used in Media. However, the rest of your blog work is missing. Do we have the right link? Hopefully it is in your drafts section and can be posted as soon as possible.

EBI: You need to make sure that all blog work is posted to show that you understand the GCSE Media course. The lack of blog posts concerns me; all missing work must be completed urgently. Think about the purpose of Media texts and how they affect the audience. When you post, include media terminology and proof read your work for SPaG errors.

Image result for dabLR: Complete and post all Media blog work urgently, otherwise you will be working on this during study club!

Fruit Bowl Palette

In media we choose a colour that represented a time in the year. This is why I have chosen these, dull colours for two reasons. The 1st one is to represent autumn. Then the 2nd reason i choose these colours, is because these colours are able to represent Autumn. This is also why i choose the album in the corner and stole the idea of the colour from it, because it is able to represent autumn.

  1. What are you looking forward to learning in GCSE Media Studies?
  2. Which part of the course are you looking forward to most?
  3. What knowledge and skills do you hope to learn in Media?
  4. What grade are you realistically hoping to achieve in Media?
  5. What was the last TV programme or film you watched?

  7. What technology have you used to access the media in the last 24 hours? (Radio, TV, phone etc.)
  8. What device do you use most to access the media?
  9. Watch this scene from the acclaimed BBC drama Sherlock:
  10. How does the clip make the audience want to keep watching the programme? List at least three things and explain why it makes the audience want to watch more.

  1. In media the thing i'm most probably looking forward to learning is, being able to design and edit videos & magazines on the computer.
  2. Actually creating the videos and putting my ideas into making that video. Or ideas in making a magazine cover. That is what i am most looking forward to. I am also looking forward to media awards where i am hoping to win something.
  3. The thing i am hopping to know when i come out of media is how to create, design and edit videos and magazine covers. I also hope, when i watch a film or a program that i can be like to my mum. Ooo did you know this colour is implying this or that.
  4. The grade i hopping to achieve in media is at least an A as i have managed somehow to get a  B in a subject and i do not want to have not gotten worse at taking a GCSE. also as the former media students got 100% in A*-C i am hopping and working towards an A.
  5. The last film i watched was in cinema called 'Brotherhood'.
  6. Personally i think this film appealed to the audience because of the previous two films that came before it. ('Kidulthood' and Adulthood). also i believe the rappers and  grim artists that appeared in the film helped.
  7. I have used my phone a computer to access the media in the last 24 hours.
  8. I use my phone the most to access the media
